Support independent film in your community by becoming a member of the SSFI.

If you have attended any of our film festival screenings, you know about that part of the Institute. But we're more than an annual film festival. SSFI promotes independent film all year 'round!

Help us to continue that support by becoming a member. Please, download the pdf application below, print, fill it in and mail it to us.

• Third Thursday, our monthly film screenings at Victory Firehouse, 205 Webster Street. Check "Community" link for most current information.
• Film Screenings - The SSFI collaborates with other arts-driven entities, throughout the year, to bring more independent (and classic) films to the public. We have worked with the Celtic Cultural Alliance, Historic Bethlehem Partnership, ArtsLehigh, Musikfest, and the Mauck Chunk Opera House. More recently, SSFI has become a founding member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Arts Alliance to promote cooperation between arts organization at all levels.

We are an all-volunteer organization - all proceeds go toward making the Institute and the Film Festival a success for filmmakers and film viewers!

Membership levels begin at $25 for students and seniors, $50 for individuals and $100 for families. Premium memberships begin at $125 through $1000. Each level includes additional benefits. Once you have completed the membership form and chosen your level of membership, you may submit payment via check or use paypal to use your credit card. If you use paypal, please include a copy of your paypal receipt with your membership form.
