Bethlehem’s SouthSide Film Festival returns, kicking off a week of fresh films

The opening credits are finally rolling again at Bethlehem’s SouthSide Film Festival.

“This festival signifies the beginning of the summer,” begins Jennifer Cotto, director of the SouthSide Film Festival.

Cotto says last year, closing the curtain on the festival entirely was tough.

South Side Film Festival returns to Bethlehem after 2020 hiatus

JUNE 14, 2021

The South Side Film Festival is returning to Bethlehem for a 17th year. It kicks off June 15 with an opening night party at Color Me Mine on Third Street.

Screenings will be held each night through June 19 at different venues, including Touchstone Theatre, Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts and the National Museum of Industrial History.

The SouthSide Film Festival will resume for its 17th annual event on June 15-19. The festival hit a hiatus in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
